A Pulitzer-winning reporter is writing an in-depth piece – about you. What are the three questions you really hope she doesn’t ask you?
This will be the last time I respond to a Daily Prompt that doesn’t interest me.
It’s a great way to meet new people, though, and share some laughter, good times, sad moments, and even to learn a bit more about life. However, these prompts are beginning to remind me of why I have an aversion to social media. The simple yet sad fact of it being overrun by adolescents and all things teen.
Unless it is worth my while, I’ll likely just read your responses and help boost your ratings for you.
The ab-fab reporter would be interviewing me because I just received a Nobel for literature. In my mind, this trumps the Pulitzer, so said flashy reporter better not arrive under any ill-conceived notions about being somehow better than me. (Politics)
The questions (if Pulitzer really did receive said award for reporting) would not, therefore, be of the intimidating, tacky, or shame seeking variety. Pulitzer would have already handed Nobel the questions so that Nobel is able to respond in the best manner possible prior to being interviewed for whatever spread in whatever publication the interview will land. (Religion)
Lastly, if I am not willing to answer the questions (be it 3 or just one) then why would I be foolish enough to list them here, on an open forum that is read world-wide? (Sex life)
Tricky, my ass.

I know, right? I just skip the uninteresting prompts (they started repeating themselves a while back) and try to think of other things to write about. Maybe. I’m not committed to writing every day.

I only started this about a week ago and don’t know all the ins & outs, but it’d be great if people with more brains than me would submit better, more enriching content from now on. Thank you for reading!

I know, and if I were smarter, I would submit some thoughts of my own.
